March is Over - Were Ready for Summer

What a month!

We actually had a great month in March. On the 15th we celebrated Ella's 3rd Birthday. She is such a trip. Needless to say she had a wonderful Dora birthday party with her friend from 3 houses down and a couple of Abbie and Noah's friends. Memaw and Papaw Skeen made it down as well for the weekend. It was actually a double birthday as Memaw's birthday is right after Ella's. We spend the late morning and afternoon at the SC Aquarium and all had a blast. After that we came back and had the party. Ella had lots of presents to open thanks to everyone sending her stuff. Mom and dad made sure she had plenty to open too. Later that evening we had the chance to partake in some steamed oysters, flounder, and shrimp. We were all fat and sassy later that evening. Thought we were going to get to do some fishing but it was crazy weather on Sunday; actually been crazy all month. Its either raining or wind blowing 30+mph. We are definitely experiencing the lion this year.

We made a trip up to Cary, NC for cousin Rob's wedding. Abbie and Noah were in the wedding and it went off without a hitch. It was a long weekend and getting back for school and work on Monday was tough. It was great to see everyone and we all had a blast "cuttin a rug" at the reception.

Now we are ready for summer. Abbie and Ella are taking swimming lessons and Noah has started baseball. Fishing will be fun too!
