April & Early May Update

April was a good month. Yours truly turned another year older. Seems as if they come quicker and quicker now.

Overall a quick month though. I managed to get a few days off Easter week and we spent some quiet time at the house in Denton. Kids had a blast even though we didn't get to spend any time on the lake. It is still comfortable there as we are all able to sleep on our own beds. No phone ringing, and 3 TV stations; like old times(I mean 30 years ago). Next trip back probably around Memorial day. We will definitely be in the water then; we miss it a bunch! Forgot to mention Rosie and Kitty enjoyed it too. Kitty liked it so much she decided to stay all week. We couldn't find Kitty and thanks to Tosha she found her after we left. She kept her for us until we could meet up and get her back. Thanks to Tosha for her help; Abbie was a wreck!

While in Charleston, Noah and I are getting to do a lot of fishing. I emphasize we are fishing and not doing much catching. Either way we are getting to learn a lot about what not to do and where not to go. Were going to keep trying though, someday we will be able to bring home dinner. Actually we have had some success; Noah has caught 3 Stingrays, I caught a couple puffers. Katie caught one Red that was under the limit. We really suck but we are having a blast!
